9.2.1 Use of Artificial Intelligence
Individual and team assignments must adhere to the IHP’s academic integrity policy. Students are expected to compose, summarize, compare, and synthesize without the use of unauthorized aids including artificial intelligence (AI) tools or AI language models, unless said tools are explicitly permitted by the instructor and disclosed by the student. Reference managers (eg. Mendeley, Zotero) and spelling / grammar checkers are the exception and can be used to improve the readability and language of student writing. Students suspected of inappropriately using unauthorized aids such as AI language models / content creators will be referred to OT Department’s Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures (CAPP).
