NH 602 Masters Health Care Policy & Politics

Prerequisites: None. Pass/Fail and audit available. This course provides a forum for the discussion of policies related to health care. Policies are considered from the lens of consumers, providers, organizations, and society. Students evaluate the effect of policies on cost, quality, and access to health care policy from historical, clinical, socioeconomic, legal, ethical, and political perspectives. This course is intended for students progressing toward advanced practice nursing roles.
