NP 823 PC III: Primary Care of the Child with Special Health Care Needs

Prerequisite: NP-821. Co-requisite: NP-871D and NP-871E. Pass/Fail and audit available. This is the third of three primary care courses designed to prepare students for advanced nursing care of children and families within a culturally diverse society. The course emphasizes primary care strategies for children experiencing increasingly complex health, social and/or behavioral problems, within a family-centered framework.
