NP 863B Dual Women's Health Practicum
Prerequisite: NP-752, NP-863A. Corequisites: NP-701, NP-715N, NP-739 NP-762N - Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course. Pass/Fail and audit option not available. In this second clinical course, the dual Adult Gerontology Primary Care/Women's Health Gender-Related student refines advanced practice competence as a Women's Health/Gender Related Nurse Practitioner. Consistent with theory courses, students will apply evidence in evaluation and management of health maintenance, sexual and reproductive health, routine, and complex gynecological and obstetric health conditions for diverse individuals and populations 13 years and older within healthcare systems. Students will collaborate with their preceptor in providing equitable advanced practice nursing care in a clinical experience.
