NP 881A Women's Health Practicum

Prerequisite: RN status, NP-715N, NP-739, NP-760N (or NP-762N), NP-701, NP-762, and NP-861A. This clinical course prepares the student for advanced practice as a Women's Health/Gender Related Nurse Practitioner.  Consistent with the theory course, students will apply evidence in evaluation and management of health maintenance, sexual and reproductive health, routine, and complex gynecological and obstetric health conditions for diverse individuals and populations 13 years and older within healthcare systems. Working with a preceptor, students will participate in providing equitable advanced practice nursing care in a clinical experience.
