ENLK 51 Advanced Academic Reading and Writing

NLEP 051 is an academic reading and writing course designed to increase student’s receptive and productive command of written English for success in the pursuit of higher education in English. Level 5 Reading and Writing is intended to guide students to accurately and confidently read and write at a B2 level of proficiency. The focus is on academic reading and composition at the advanced level. Students will read and write in a variety of rhetorical modes, and master a writing process that involves responding to teacher and peer feedback and revision of their writing across multiple drafts. Students will also read extensively, both shorter authentic and pedagogical texts as well as authentic, level-appropriate book-length texts.
