CSS 100 Computational Thinking and Technical Writing

This course will introduce students to computational and critical thinking to solve problems along with technical writing to design effective technical documents for both written and digital media. Students will explore the pillars of computation thinking: decomposition, pattern recognition, pattern generalization and abstraction, and algorithm design. Students will also practice writing for professional settings and focus on types of documents necessary to make decisions and take action. Pre-requisite(s): None. Co-requisite(s): None. 5 quarter hours
