Baking and Pastry, Baccalaureate Certificate

The Baking and Pastry certificate focuses on professional cake decorating to advance the skills needed in the creation and sell of professional cakes while attaining degree credit. The courses are designed to be offered at different modalities (evening and weekend options) to currently enrolled baking and pastry students and new students. 

Students who successfully complete the Baking and Pastry certificate may choose to apply these credits toward an A.A.S. or B.A. degrees at Kendall College at NLU. 

Program Details:

• Requires 24 QH for completion
• Requires completion of all courses at NLU
• Requires a minimum grade of "C" or better in the following courses: KBPA 100, KBPA 142, KBPA 150, KBPA 151, KBPA 175, and KBPA 176
