Courses may be added, with advisor and/or instructor approval, if done within 5 business days of the beginning of the term. Students wanting to drop courses should first consult their instructor and their academic advisor. Drops may be done through the My Ottawa portal. Students may drop courses during the first 10 business days without a notation appearing on the official transcript. After the first 10 business days, a grade of “W” will be posted with the dropped course and will appear on the official transcript.
Effective with the Spring 2014 term, students will have until the 6th business day of the term at 5:00 p.m. CST to add or drop courses. Drops one within this time period will not appear on the official transcript. After the 6th business day, a grade of "W" will be posted with the dropped course and will appear on the official transcript.
Changes in registration may affect refunds or result in additional fees. Students may not withdraw from courses after 75 percent of the term has elapsed. See refund policy and fee schedule for your local campus.
