College Credit Hour Programs (BAS, BSN, AA, AS, AAS, PSV Certificates)

FASAP Definition

In order to receive Federal (Title IV) or State of Florida financial assistance a student must be maintaining Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (FASAP). All coursework, regardless of where and when attempted, will be counted in determining a student's Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress status in compliance with federal regulations.

A student will be considered maintaining FASAP when the student has completed at least 67% of all courses attempted and earned a cumulative GPA at or above the minimum as indicated in the Required Standards section of this catalog.

Students who have attempted one (1) credit at this college will have their FASAP status displayed for review on their Degree Audit available via SpyGlass after each period of enrollment.  Transfer students will have their eligibility status reviewed prior to the awarding of any federal or state aid, including federal Direct Loan eligibility.
