ME 452 Control Engineering I
Introductory controls class offered to upper-division mechanical engineering undergraduates and graduate students. Includes classical theory as applied to linear systems with topics: mathematical modeling of control systems; transfer functions and block diagrams; transient response; stability; root-locus method; frequency response method; and control system design techniques. Computer analysis and solution techniques will be utilized. Also offered for graduate-level credit as ME 552 and may be taken only once for credit.
