ELP 447 Administration of Early Childhood Programs
Examines theory and practice informing the administration/leadership of early childhood programs to include: 1) organizational configurations, 2) leadership and the dynamics of the work group, 3) developmentally appropriate curriculum, 4) interaction with families of young children, and 5) significance of poverty, race, and gender for such programs. Also offered for graduate-level credit as ELP 547 and may be taken only once for credit.
Prerequisite
child and family studies major or admission to an education graduate program.
