ESM 464 Climate Adaptation: Managing Environmental Risks and Vulnerabilities
Contribution to climate risk management will require an understanding of the fundamentals of adaptation planning, climate impacts, risk and vulnerability, and implementation. An adaptation-centered view focuses on the power of local actors to develop strategies that protect and facilitate human and environmental values under threat from global change. Also offered for graduate-level credit as ESM 564 and may be taken only once for credit.
