Geog 413 Biogeography of Pacific Northwest
This course examines the regional biogeography of current and historical plant and animal distributions. Course topics include the abiotic constraints to species distributions, ecological processes (succession and disturbance), and biogeographic theory and management. The course includes two mandatory all day field trips. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Geog 513 and may be taken only once for credit. Recommended prerequisites: Geog 210, 313 or Bio 357.
