Lower-level courses may be included in these hours, but a minimum of 12 semester hours must be taken in upper-level courses. Some majors require additional support courses outside the major field. C. Complete a minor with a minimum of 18 semester hours and a maximum of 24 semester hours.

A minimum of 6 semester hours in the minor must be taken in upper-level courses. Specific requirements are detailed in the minor field’s department section. See Degrees section for a listing of available minors.

Core course requirements, major field requirements, minor field requirements, and electives must total a minimum of 124 semester hours. However, the requirements of some majors/minors may extend the total beyond 124 semester hours.
