EDUC 511 Introduction to and Foundations of Education

An introduction to education including social and historical foundations, models, theories, philosophy, special education, legal and ethical issues that form the basis for education in the culturally and academically diverse society. Criminal background check by the Washington State Patrol and fingerprinting by the FBI required. Field experience required.
