HMNT 490 Experiential Learning

Practical experience allowing application of classroom learning in the student’s primary area of study and taking into account the student’s future career objectives. Specific learning programs and outcomes will be determined by the student in consultation with an academic advisor. Experiential learning can take a wide variety of forms, including a formal internship, volunteer work, or assistance on a professional or academic research project. Requirements include a minimum of 120 hours of documented work experience. See the Internship Program in the Nondepartmental section of the Bulletin. Graded S or NC.
