Financial Aid Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for financial aid, a student must:
- Demonstrate financial need (for most programs).
- Be a citizen of the United States or an eligible permanent resident;
- Have a valid Social Security number;
- Be enrolled in an eligible program;
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress toward graduation;
- Be a high school graduate or have obtained a GED or the equivalent;
- Not be in default on any federal student loan nor owe a refund on a federal grant received at any postsecondary college or institution;
- Be registered with the U.S. Selective Service requirements, if applicable.
