PA 682 Behavioral Medicine Supervised Clinical Practice

Provides direct patient care clinical experiences, under the supervision of a clinical preceptor, specific to the practice of behavioral medicine/psychiatry. The emphasis is on providing care to patients, including the evaluation and management of patients presenting with conditions and illnesses commonly seen in the behavioral medicine/psychiatry practice setting. Course delivery methods for teaching and learning include hands-on clinical experiences with direct patient care and preceptor/clinician formative feedback and evaluations.
