OCC 625 Evidence in OT Practice I
Incorporate evidence into practice with the goal to improve client outcomes through assessment and critiquing of scholarly works. Students are introduced to evidence-based practice and knowledge development and how to create focused clinical questions, investigate and interpret research literature, and incorporate outcome-measures into practice. It is designed to foster professional writing skills as to become evidence –based practitioner in occupational therapy. It furnishes and allows the student to evaluate current research evidence and apply evidence to practice decisions. Course delivery methods include online synchronous instruction.
