LAP505 Advanced Abnormal Psychology
Advanced seminar investigating current theoretical and applied questions related to various aspects of abnormal psychology, including anxiety, personality, sexual, childhood and affective disorders, substance abuse, mental retardation, autism, schizophrenia, and selected topics related to therapeutic intervention. Students will analyze issues in abnormal psychology found in the scientific and popular literature and in case studies of abnormal behavior. Prerequisite: One previous course in abnormal psychology and graduate standing; one course in community mental health recommended; senior standing with permission of department.
