HSMA 505 Administrative Dimensions of Human Services

(Formerly Argosy HS 6530). This course provides an overview of organizational, consultative, and coordinating skills required of administrators in human services. Students learn about the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation in achieving service outcomes. Topics include legislative and federal regulations, funding options, local mandates, and organizational structures. HSMA 553 Human Services Capstone

(Formerly HS 6534). The capstone will provide a forum in which students will have opportunities to review, integrate, and apply the knowledge, skills, and values acquired and refined during the human services program. This course ties together theoretical applications and a practical grounding for ethics, diversity, and effective written and oral communication skills developed during the program.
