NUR 403 Leadership in Nursing Practice

This course emphasizes the role of the nurse leader in professional nursing practice and provides an introduction to the theory and practice of nursing leadership and management. The emphasis is on understanding the key components of the leadership/management process which include critically thinking, communicating effectively, handling conflict, delegating successfully, controlling resources, improving quality and safety, and leading change.
