ARTT-221 Art Museum Field Trips

This course involves student exposure in the form of approximately seven prearranged, organized field trips or tours to the art museums of the Baltimore-Washington area. Museums may include the Walters, Baltimore Museum of Art, National Gallery East and West, Hirshhorn, Freer Gallery of Oriental Art, Corcoran, Renwick, and Phillips Collection. Lectures and discussions will be arranged on site at these various museums. Field trips are required. There will be a fee assessed to cover the bus transportation based on the number of students enrolled in the course. Museum connoiseurship includes consideration of gender and other categories of diversity.
