ARTT-227 Watercolor Painting I

This course is for students with no watercolor experience. Fundamental techniques like washes, dry-brush, controlled strokes, and wet-into-wet applications will be covered. This course will introduce pigment properties, composition, and color design. There will be an emphasis on the representational conventions of form and space, covered with a variety of subject matter including still life, landscape, interiors, and figures.
