RADT 248 Clinical Radiography IV

In this course, students will expand previously acquired skills with emphasis on critical thinking and proficiency during patient positioning, radiographic image production, image processing, and image archiving radiographic procedures in a competency-based clinical setting. Students will be supervised by registered technologists appropriate to the level of competency. Concepts of radiation protection, patient care, equipment operation, quality control, and image production and evaluation will be reinforced. Students will have rotational experiences in interventional radiography, trauma imaging, and advanced modalities including computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and mammography. Clinical Radiography IV is the fourth clinical education component of the program.
