In this course, students will expand previously acquired MRI procedures and patient care skills with emphasis on critical thinking, pathology-specific MRI procedures, MRI angiography, 3D MRI, Perfusion Imaging, and Diffusion Imaging techniques. Students will continue to perform and document MRI procedures competencies to fulfill the minimum number of clinical procedures to establish eligibility for the ARRT certification examination. At the end of this course, if a student is unable to gather the minimum requirement of MR competencies, he/she will retake this course as a requirement for the certification from HCC and to establish eligibility for the ARRT certification examination.
