Course Description

This course reinforces the importance of accurate healthcare capture and documentation and its impact on reimbursement and patient care. Students are introduced to editing, proofreading, and the documentation skills required with the changes in technology and the electronic health record (EHR). (Formerly Healthcare Documentation I)
