PA-751 Patient Care II
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Semester 1 classes. Students build upon skills and knowledge developed and learned in Patient Care I. Physical examination techniques of the neurologic, cardiovascular, otolaryngologic, and ophthalmologic systems are taught, practiced, and refined. Students also learn to conduct a mental status examination and psychiatric interview and continue to develop history-taking, documentation, and patient education skills. Workshops on hands-on patient care procedures are conducted.
