NS 503BG Pharmacology II

Prerequisites: NS-500G, NS-501G, NS-502G, NS-503AG, NS-510G. This is the second of two courses that further examines pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapeutics of drug therapy in individuals and populations for both physiologic and pathophysiologic conditions. The course will provide an advanced understanding and application of the actions, effects, side effects, drug interactions and nursing responsibilities of drug therapy for common acute and chronic medical conditions. Disease prevention, treatment, and patient response to pharmacologic modalities will be explored using clinical judgment.
