NS 530G Adult and Population Health III

Prerequisites: NS-500G, NS-501G, NS-502G, NS-503AG, NS-503BG, NS-510G, NS-520G. This course is the third of three courses focusing on the nurse’s role in health promotion, disease prevention, and care for acute and chronic problems of diverse individuals and populations. Students will integrate scientific inquiry and evidence-based practice for adult and aging individuals and populations with acute and chronic problems. Students will compare, contrast, and examine commonly occurring acute and chronic conditions using clinical judgment. Students will incorporate knowledge from prior coursework and integrate clinical judgment for patient care in acute and community settings through the lens of Social Determinants of Health (SDoH).
