Psychology/Human Development Minor, Early Childhood

Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Practice students may select a minor in Psychology/Human Development to fulfill their standard teaching concentration requirement. Students may apply their knowledge to a number of settings, including the classroom.

This minor requires:

  • 30 QH in addition to Psychology/Human Development courses taken as part of the General Education and Foundational Courses requirements
  • 15 QH of upper level coursework
  • 15 QH of upper level courses must be taken at NLU
  • A minimum grade of “C” for each course in the minor
