Art Minor, Elementary Education
Elementary Education students may select a minor in Art to fulfill their standard teaching concentration requirement. By choosing this minor, future teachers will increase their familiarity with art in ways they may find useful for their classrooms.
The art curriculum at NLU features studio art, art history and art appreciation.
This minor requires:
- 30 QH in addition to Art courses taken as part of the General Education requirement
- 15 QH of the 30 QH must be upper level
- 15 QH of upper level coursework must be taken at NLU
- A minimum grade of “C” for each course in the minor
