SPN 430 Cervantes

This course studies the literary production of Miguel de Cervantes, one of Spain’s most iconic writers of the Golden Age. In alternate offerings of the course, students will read either Cervantes’s great masterpiece, Don Quixote, or a selection of his lesser-known but equally important works in other genres, such as short fiction, plays, dramatic interludes, and the pastoral novel.
