Students are introduced to professional nursing and health care delivery. Academic expectations, foundational principles for the nursing major, and the process of active inquiry into health care issues are explored. Students investigate health perspectives, social justice, care of self and others, scientific basis for nursing, and professional socialization. Fee: $110
