Tom Ekkens, Academic Advisor.

Entry requirements vary according to the professional school. Summarized below are the requirements for entry into the program at the University of Washington. For admission into the Orthotics and Prosthetics program, students are required to complete a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.  Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (B) for the most recent 60 semesters or 90 quarter credits to be considered for admission. In addition, applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (B) in the required prerequisite courses with no single course graded less than 2.0 (C). It is highly recommended that all prerequisite course grades be 2.5 or above. If you have any prerequisite course grades between 2.0 and 2.4, your academic record will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Grades lower than 2.0 in a prerequisite course will not be accepted.
