PSYD 728 Psychology and Trauma
(Formerly PP 8015). This course addresses the psychological impact of trauma on individuals and communities, as well as treatment of trauma-related disorders. Trauma is examined in a broad context, including terrorism, natural disasters violence, sexual assault, etc. Attention is also given to vicarious traumatization and caring for the caregiver.
