PS 472 Democratization and Authoritarianism in the Middle East and North Africa
Introduction to theoretical, empirical, and methodological debates in the comparative and international relations of the Middle East. Examination of contemporary political, economic, and social topics, including institutions and regimes, political economy, women and politics, Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and regional and international affairs. Also offered for graduate-level credit as PS 572 and may be taken only once for credit.
