Family Medical Leave of Absence

Faculty members who have worked at least one year and have completed at least 1250 hours of service within the past year are eligible for job protected leave under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Qualifying medical needs include serious health conditions that affect the employee, serious health conditions that affect the employee’s immediate family, and for the birth, placement, or adoption of a child.
