8.1 Role of the Academic Advisor

When considering an appeal, the student should immediately consult their Academic Advisor. While the decision to submit an appeal is ultimately the student’s, it is advisable to determine if there is sufficient cause for the petition so that the advisor can advocate fully on behalf of the student throughout the process.
