iii. Reappointment and Promotion of Non-voting Faculty
In the December preceding the end of the non-voting faculty member’s appointment period, the Office of the Provost will notify the academic unit leader of upcoming non-voting faculty appointment renewals. The Office of the Provost will confirm with the academic unit leader the reappointment at current or higher rank and request the candidate’s current curriculum vitae. The provost will approve or reject it, and notify the non-voting faculty member and the academic unit leader of the decision. The length of reappointment for non-voting faculty members is based on rank and may be up to five years.
