Class Representatives
Each class elects two student representatives to the Student Government Association (SGA). The purpose of the SGA is to represent and serve the needs and interest of the members of the student body Institute-wide. The student representatives serve as liaison to the faculty and their class. Students elected to this position are expected to:
- Fulfill a leadership role by representing the OT student body in a professional manner and contributing ideas to the OTD program,
- Provide constructive feedback to the faculty and OT program administration regarding curriculum and fieldwork,
- Provide updates to the faculty regarding student run activities,
- Attend faculty meeting a minimum of twice a semester and communicate items from that meeting back to the student body, and
- Fully participate in the Institute Student Government Association (SGA).
