Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity (COTAD)

The Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity (COTAD) is a non-profit network of occupational therapy practitioners and students focused on addressing issues of  structures, policies and norms that perpetuate race-based advantage in health care, education and society at large. The COTAD Chapter at the IHP was founded in 2019 and is designed to support occupational therapy students and faculty to organize events, network, partner, educate, and share resources related to justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-racism, and anti-oppression.  The IHP COTAD Chapter meets, holds events, and participates in initiatives throughout the academic year.
