Maximum Time Frame

Associate Degree Students

Students otherwise eligible for federal or state financial aid and enrolled in an associate degree program who have attempted more than 150% of the number of credit hours required in that program are not progressing at the required pace to complete their program within the required standard and therefore are considered to be making unsatisfactory academic progress. Changes in program of study do not extend eligibility beyond the 150% credit hour maximum time frame.

Certificate Program Students

Students otherwise eligible for federal or state financial aid and enrolled in an approved certificate program who have attempted more than 150% of the number of credit hours required in that program are not progressing at the required pace to complete their program within the required standard and therefore are considered to be making unsatisfactory academic progress. Changes in program of study do not extend a student’s eligibility beyond the 150% credit hour maximum time frame.

Baccalaureate Degree Students

Students otherwise eligible for federal or state financial aid and enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program who have attempted more than 150% of the number of credit hours required in that program are not progressing at the required pace to complete their program within the required standard and therefore are considered to be making unsatisfactory academic progress. Changes in program of study do not extend a student’s eligibility beyond the 150% credit hour maximum time frame.
