ITP 423 Secondary Health and Physical Education Methods

Issues and methods in selecting and organizing materials for instruction in middle and high school health and K-12 physical education. Examines a variety of professional resources available to support learning. Introduces research-based instructional practices and lesson/unit planning. Situates teaching, learning, and assessment within the context of state and national standards. Also offered for graduate-level credit as ITP 523 and may be taken fall, winter, and spring terms for credit.
