ME 571 Process Measurement and Control

Introduction to process control hardware, software, and interfacing. Lecture topics include: number systems, hardware concepts, data movement, programming, and interfacing. Lab exercises involve the use of microcomputers interfaced and programmed for various control and data acquisition applications. Lecture and laboratory. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as ME 471 and may be taken only once for credit.
