Students Disability Services
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the recruitment and admission of students, or in the operation of any of its programs and activities. The UMHB Student Disability Services Office is available to assist students with disability-related issues including reasonable accommodation under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. It is the student’s responsibility to request disability accommodations each semester.
Students are encouraged to submit requests for accommodations in a timely manner, preferably before a class begins. A student may request an accommodation at any time, but an accommodation cannot be granted by the Disability Services Office until the request is processed and the disability is documented. Accommodations, if approved, cannot be applied retroactively.
