NRS 535 Complementary and Alternative Therapies

Students are introduced to several complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies (Oriental, Ayurveda, homeopathy, and naturopathic medicine; energy healing, herbal, and spiritual concepts of healing). In addition, there is discussion and evaluation of how these practices are used by the general public, medicine and nursing to promote general health and treat common diseases.
