Current Curriculum Plan – Voice Disorders Concentration

The concentration in voice disorders focuses on developing knowledge and skills related to the comprehensive assessment and rehabilitative process to manage a variety of voice disorders.  Foundational themes will include application of endoscopic, acoustical, aerodynamic, and perceptual evaluation results to guide clinical decision making using a patient-centered approach.  Principles of interprofessional management of alaryngeal rehabilitation will also be an area of focus. 

 

Total Core Required Credits: 66

(Core courses must be taken for letter grade.)

Total Elective Credits required: 6

Minimum credits required for graduation: 72

 

If students have already completed an undergraduate course in Aural Rehabilitation they must take 2 more credits of electives to reach the total of 72 because they do not take CD 751 Aural Rehabilitation.
