HIS 203 Survey of U.S. History

In this course, students explore the relationship between history and culture as they survey major events, ideas, movements, and key individuals connected to the process of nation building. Readings and discussions include: the colonization of North America, the American Revolution, Western expansion, the Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Cold War, and the modern era.
